2011 Howe Cup Oct 21-23, 2011 | Baltimore, MD
The Howe Cup is an annual team championship tournament run by U.S. Squash. It's the country's largest squash event for women, and is a social weekend full of matches and parties.
For the 2011 tournament at Baltimore's Meadow Mill Athletic Club, over 200 women representing 36 teams competed over the three day event. New York Squash sent five singles and six doubles teams to compete, including 12 girls from StreetSquash. Results & Awards Among a weekend of great matches, some highlights: New York A team finished third in the competition for the official Howe Cup in a very challenging draw. Doubles team Tracy Gates and Kathy Mintz placed second in the Doubles B division. Click here for full results. NY Squash board members Emily Stieff and Jessica Green were awarded the U.S. Squash Achievement Bowl, for contribution to the sportsmanship of squash and the advancement of the game.
