The MSRA Grand Open is an amateur tournament is held in conjunction with the pro Tournament of Champions (TOC). The Grand Open features 200+ players across several draws, making it the largest amateur singles tournaments in the world! Grand Open players are treated to a weekend full of squash, with large draws (most have 16 or 32 players), complimentary tickets to the TOC in Grand Central Station, and a Saturday night party with open bar. Please note that most draws fill up well in advance of the signup date, so don't delay in registering.

The TOC returns to New York City for the 13th year and will again take place in the grandeur of Grand Central Station’s Vanderbilt Hall. Among the field of the world’s top 32 players expected to compete are Amr Shabana (recent winner of the 2009 World Open), Gregory Gaultier (current world #1) and Ramy Ashour (the 2009 World Open finalist).

Early Entry Fee (by 12/31): US Squash members $95, Non-members $110
Late Entry Fee (after 12/31): US Squash members $110, Non-members $125
Draws Close: Friday Jan 15 at midnight
Skill Levels: Men: 6.0, 5.5, 5.0, 4.5, 4.0, 3.5, 3.0
Women: 5.5, 5.0, 4.5, 4.0, 3.0
Schedule: Match play begins Friday January 22nd at 5pm. Play continues Saturday and Sunday.
FREE TOURNAMENT OF CHAMPIONS TICKETS One of the best values in squash tournaments, Grand Open players will receive free entry to the two Friday and the two Saturday sessions (Jan 22 and 23) of the Tournament of Champions (a $125 value)

Saturday Night Party The MSRA will also host our traditional courtside party on Saturday Jan 23rd at the Tournament of Champions. Come join your fellow tournament players for a few rounds and watch some great squash in the process.

StreetSquash Sunday Exhibition

StreetSquash will be hosting a cocktail mixer on Sunday evening prior to the start of the 6:30pm pro matches. The Match & Mixer will feature cocktails, a glass court exhibition match by two of StreetSquash's junior players and tickets to watch that night's pro matches. Tickets can be purchased at the event's website. StreetSquash is a Harlem-based urban youth enrichment program that combines squash training, academic advancement and community service.
