Parents, coaches and U13 and U15 boys and girls players from across the MSRA region gathered just before 9am at the 86th Street NY Sports Club on October 4th, 2003, for a full day of fun, training and competition in the MSRA Junior Squads.
Squads Coordinator Eric Christiansen put the players through their paces, from traditional court drills, conditioned games, to nutrition and off-court fitness. The 17 boys and girls from Brooklyn, Manhattan, Westchester, and Long Island departed the club at 5pm muscle-weary, but with a smile on their faces. Thanks in particular goes to the parents of each player as well as to John Russell of the Heights Casino, Aydita Kapur of NYSC Uptown,and Alex Berger of SC/LA for their enthusiastic coaching.
Look to upcoming schedules for the Spring 2004 U17 and U19 squads, as well as a reprise of the U13 and U15 squad.
