Each year the MSRA presents a variety of awards to its members
who have demonstrated outstanding performance, sportsmanship, overall
improvement,
and contribution to squash. The awards are as follows:
Established in 1928, the Edwin H. Bigelow Cup is awarded for outstanding
performance in competition.
Established in 1962, the Eddie Standing Squash Racquets Trophy
is awarded for exceptional sportsmanship and excellence of play.
Established in 1968, the Robert H. Lehman Award is for the year's
most improved male player
Established in 1982, the Fernandez Trophy is awarded to the year's
most improved female player.
Established in 1986, the Kate Brodsky Award is for the junior
who has shown effort, sportsmanship and courtesy on and off the
court.
Established in 1978, the Wedgewood Trophy is awarded for sportsmanship,
excellence of play and contribution to women's squash.
Established in 1960, the Board of Governer's Award is a life-time
award for outstanding contributions to the MSRA and to the game
of squash in the New
York
area.
The President's Award is for extraordinary service to the MSRA and
the broader squash community.
