| 2004 Winner: Taru Goel
Taru's growth in the game didn't come from taking lessons, jogging, or improving his fitness, but more from realizing his abilities. Taru began to work out the strengths and weaknesses of both himself and his opponent and would put it to work immediately. Taru was reliable for league matches – he was always there even though he may have been late, tired and/or hungry. He went on court with a game plan and executed it whatever the condition. Having spent last season in the C's getting beaten on a regular basis, Taru moved into the B's for the 2003-04 season and had a 6:1 win:loss ratio.
