2003 Winner: Muzakir Andrabi

Muza started playing squash just a year ago. He watched and played, and watched and played at his local club and went from a retriever to an athletic squash player. He helped his team win the Men’s C league for the 2002-3 season. Playing number one, he finished 14-1 for the season. In the 2003 Grand Open, Muza made it to the finals of the 4.0 draw. Muza played his first Nationals this season where he also made it to the finals of the 4.0 draw. His route to the finals included a comeback from 8-1 down in the fifth to win 10-8 in the quarter finals. For this years Hyder tournament, Muza has moved up to the 4.5 draw and given his opponents some tough competition.
