What is the MSRA?

The MSRA organizes leagues and tournaments for squash players in the New York Metropolitan area. We are a not-for-profit organization run by volunteers and one part-time paid Executive Director. Our members are individuals and clubs offering squash courts in the NY metro area. We are also the designated district branch for the United States Squash Racquets Association (USSRA).

Our Mission Statement

Squash is fun. It is fast, exciting, and tests both athleticism and strategic decision-making. Squash brings people of all ages and skill levels together for enjoyment and competition across communities, and creates opportunities in all aspects of life - educational, professional, and personal.

The MSRA’s mission is to further the development, progress, and establishment of the game of squash in the Greater New York Metropolitan Area. The MSRA seeks both to introduce new players to the game, and to inspire current players to excellence, fair play, and healthy competition. The MSRA’s vision is a dynamic environment, which encourages life-long camaraderie, while challenging the heart, mind, body, and soul.
