It's our favorite week of the year -- Squash Week! Headlined by New York Squash's Grand Open Tournament and the pro Tournament of Champions, it's the highlight of the season.
PLAY
Grand Open tournament (Jan 20-22). With 270+ players across 16 skill and age levels, this is one of the biggest amateur singles squash tournaments in the world! If you're playing in the Grand, check here for everything you need to know for your squash-filled weekend. (a NY Squash event)
ToC Junior Invitational (Jan 20-22). A tournament at StreetSquash's 8-court SL Green facility with draws for Boys & Girls U17, U15 and U13. Finals of all divisions are played on the glass court in Grand Central. Proceeds benefit StreetSquash.
WATCH
J.P. Morgan Tournament of Champions (Jan 20-26). The world's best players return to Grand Central Terminal. The ToC is one of the most coveted titles on the PSA tour, and a favorite venue of the players. This year, the event includes a WISPA draw, with womens-only sessions Monday and Tuesday afternoons. Buy tickets now.
Pro Am (Jan 19, 3:30-7:00pm). Watch as StreetSquash and CitySquash participants and select amateurs take on the pros. New York Squash members are invited to watch the action – and to enter a drawing to play on the glass court. Tickets are free for the first 100 NY Squash members to register.
Legends Showdown (Jan 19, 7:30pm). ToC Legends Peter Nicol, Jonathon Power, John White and Chris Walker are back to face off on the glass court. Specially priced $20 tickets available for NY Squash members; use code "NYSquash" when ordering.
SUPPORT
Volunteer at the ToC (Jan 20-26). Want to be involved with one of NYC’s most unique sporting events, and see the action up close? There are several volunteer positions available for each session.
StreetSquash Match & Mixer (Jan 22, 5:00pm). A cocktail party courtside and an exhibition match on the glass court, all benefitting StreetSquash.

U.S. Century Squash Doubles Championships (Feb 24-26). Pair up with a partner to make a team with 100 years experience for this annual championship event at the University Club. Click here to register.
Winter Warmup tournament (Mar 11). A casual and social one-day tournament, held at StreetSquash. Note: this tournament, originally scheduled for January, has been moved to March 11. (a NY Squash event)
Squash League
Singles League. New York Squash runs the largest singles league in the world with over 800 players competing on 86 teams across 8 divisions at clubs around Manhattan, Bronx, Queens, and Brooklyn.
Doubles League. NY Squash's Doubles Leagues has expanded to 30 teams across five divisions: Men's A (organized into City and Country regions), Coed B (City and Country), and Women (City only)
For both Singles and Doubles League, teams form in October and matches run November-April. Players can join teams mid-season -- contact your club's team captain or pro.

League Party (Dec 1). 150+ Doubles and Singles League players celebrated the holidy season with an open bar sponsored by New York Squash at our annual holiday happy hour. Check out the party photos on Facebook.
Howe Cup (Oct 21-23). NY Squash sent five singles teams and six doubles teams to the US Squash women's team championships in Baltimore, MD.
Season Opener Tournament (Oct 16). 50 players competed in a round-robin style tournament at the annual one-day event to kick off the season. Thanks to StreetSquash for hosting! |
